Carl Iberger is the manager of Wright Leeds, a consulting firm that works with entrepreneurs seeking to expand their businesses, with a particular focus on the healthcare industry.[1] He has held a number of senior business positions, working both as a startup entrepreneur and as a C-level executive at several organizations with multimillion-dollar operations. Much of his professional experience has been within the healthcare diagnostics industry.[2]
Early life and education
Iberger holds a Master's degree in Finance from Hofstra University. He also received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.
Career
Iberger began his professional career in 1986 with a company involved in cancer research and diagnostics. He held the positions of Vice President of Finance and Administration and Controller, remaining with the organization until 1996.[3]
Between 1996 and 2000, he worked as the Chief Financial Officer of a company specializing in neurological diagnostics.
From 2000 through 2010, Iberger served as CFO of a genetic technology company valued at approximately $100 million. He subsequently became Executive Vice President of the company's therapy division, a position he held from 2010 to 2015.[4]
From 2016 to 2022, Iberger was the CFO of a company operating in cancer diagnostics and genetic technology. The company completed a public reverse merger in 2017.[5]
He later became manager of Wright Leeds, a consulting business focused on assisting startups and entrepreneurs operating in the healthcare technology sector.
Philanthropy
In 2022, Iberger established the Carl Iberger Scholarship to provide financial assistance to students intending to pursue careers in management and human resources. Iberger has stated that human capital is an important source of innovation and organizational development and that the scholarship is intended to recognize this role while increasing students' awareness of career opportunities in these fields.[6]
