Ali Zulfikar Zahedi is a Bangladeshi film director, scriptwriter, lyricist, novelist, and film producer.[1] Zulfikar is known for his direction in the Bangladeshi film Kagoj – The Paper, released in 2022. Early life

Zulfikar (born 1 January 1976) is a Bangladeshi filmmaker who is widely known in the media and film industry by the name Zulfikar. he is professionally recognized and credited simply as Zulfikar in many of his creative works.

From an early age, he has been passionate about storytelling and visual media, which motivated him to choose filmmaking and writing as his profession. Zulfikar is married to Samia Habib, who is a flight attendant in Saudi Arabian Airlines. They have one child.

Career

Zulfikar has worked in several areas of audiovisual production, including film direction, screenwriting, lyric writing, and producing. His projects include feature films and short films exploring themes related to human emotion and social issues.[10][11][12]

In 2020, he directed the short film The Sound, which addresses themes related to truth and social awareness. The same year, he worked as a writer on the short film Covid2020, a project inspired by the global COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2022, Zahedi directed the Bangladeshi feature film Kagoj – The Paper. The film brought him wider recognition and has been associated with film festival screenings.[13][14]
